Join the celebration ushering in 2013 at City Dock as Annapolis lights up the night for their annual New Year’s Eve fireworks performance. The Circulator, Annapolis’ local shuttle, is running free to help visitors and residents make it to the event. City parking garages are open 24 hours to park securely and from there you can ride the Circulator to the celebration at no cost. Be sure to dress in layers to keep warm as you watch the show. This performance is ideal for families with children of all ages. No food will be sold at the event, but feel free to pack a picnic of your own! The best viewing areas are City Dock from Susan Campbell Park, along Main Street, any public spaces northeast of Severn River, any street-end parks facing Spa Creek, or aboard a boat in City Harbor. This event will be held after dark on December 31, 2012, and all performances are free to attend.
